Pastor Zacharie PROPHETE is a committed and passionate servant of God. He and his wife Lucienne have three daughers, and he lives in Verettes City. 

He has a degree in theology from the Theological Seminary of Port-au-Prince (STEP), and he worked for Evangelical Press for 13 years. Since that time, he pastored Capernaum de Christan Church in spite of his great desire to plant a church jointly with a friend, Antonio DERAS, whom he met in Seminary. He and his friend were so committed to their vision that Antonio gave Pastor Zacharie a piece of land for the church building. 

Pastor Zacharie heard about Summit Planting Initiative Haiti in a meeting in Port-au-Prince where Pastor Abraham was speaking. After this meeting, Pastor Zacharie and Pastor Abraham continued to connect, and they began to look for an opportunity to cooperate with the Lord’s will and for His glory by planting a church.  

In 2019, Pastor Zacharie was enrolled in the 2019 Training Center class, along with the church planting candidates from Ennery and Gressier. This class graduated in January 2020, and though the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the church launches of both Verettes and Ennery, they were able to hold soft launches in the summer of 2022.
